มฟล. จัดกิจกรรมพิพิธภัณฑ์เสวนา ถอดบทเรียน "จากภูมิปัญญาชุมชน สู่ระบบจัดการไฟป่าเชิงนิเวศวัฒนธรรม"

   มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดย สถาบันศิลปวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรมลุ่มน้ำโขง ร่วมกับ หน่วยวิจัยนิเวศปัญญาชาติพันธุ์และชนพื้นเมืองเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และ ภาคีเครือข่ายทุกภาคส่วน จัดกิจกรรมพิพิธภัณฑ์เสวนา ในหัวข้อ "จากภูมิปัญญาชุมชน สู่ระบบจัดการไฟป่าเชิงนิเวศวัฒนธรรม" เพื่อเป็นเวทีถอดบทเรียนและสรุปผลการดําเนินงานโครงการ “การนําองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมการจัดการปัญหาฝุ่นควันและไฟป่าไปขยายผลในพื้นที่เป้าหมาย จากภูมิปัญญาชนเผ่าจังหวัดเชียงราย” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ เพื่อขยายผลต้นแบบชุดองค์ความรู้การจัดการไฟป่าด้วยภูมิปัญญาชาติพันธุ์ปกาเกอะญอจากบ้านห้วยหินลาดใน ตำบลบ้านโป่ง อำเภอเวียงป่าเป้า จังหวัดเชียงราย สู่ชุมชนชาติพันธุ์อื่น ๆ อันจะทำให้เกิดความรู้ความเข้าใจอันดีต่อกันในทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง

   ในการนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พลวัฒ ประพัฒน์ทอง หัวหน้าสถาบันศิลปวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรมลุ่มน้ำโขง มฟล. เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุวิชาน พัฒนาไพรวัลย์ อาจารย์ประจำสำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ หัวหน้าโครงการวิจัยฯ กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์ ทั้งนี้ มีผู้ร่วมเสวนาและร่วมรับฟัง เป็นกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์และกลุ่มผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียกับการจัดการปัญหาฝุ่นควันและไฟป่าในพื้นที่หมู่บ้านห้วยหินลาดในและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง จำนวนกว่า 100 คน เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมคำมอกหลวง อาคาร M-Square มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

   ในช่วงแรก ได้มีการนำเสนอภาพรวมโครงการและผลการดำเนินงาน และนำเสนอผลการมอนิเตอร์ไฟจากดาวเทียม ในช่วงเดือนมกราคมถึงเดือนเมษายน ระหว่างปี 2568-2569 จากนั้นเป็นการเสวนาในหลากหลายหัวข้อ ประกอบด้วย เสวนาที่ 1 “บทเรียนการใช้ภูมิปัญญาชาติพันธุ์ในการป้องกันไฟป่า”, เสวนาที่ 2 “นวัตกรรมและอุปกรณ์ในการใช้และดูแลไฟ” พร้อมกิจกรรมถอดบทเรียนแบบมีส่วนร่วม และ เสวนาที่ 3 “เศรษฐกิจดูไฟ”

   นอกจากนี้ ยังมีกิจกรรมรับฟังข้อเสนอเชิงปฏิบัติการและเชิงนโยบาย เพื่อร่วมกำหนดทิศทางการใช้และจัดการไฟในปี 2569 พร้อมมีการสรุปข้อค้นพบสำคัญจากนิทรรศการ เสวนา และกิจกรรมถอดบทเรียนที่ผ่านมา โดยจัดหมวดผลลัพธ์เป็น 4 ด้าน คือ องค์ความรู้, คนและเครือข่าย, แผนและระบบพื้นที่ และ ข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย, สำหรับในช่วงสุดท้าย เป็นการสรุปผลการถอดบทเรียนจากการเสวนาครั้งนี้ และอ่านแถลงการณ์ของเครือข่ายลุ่มน้ำชาติพันธุ์ จังหวัดเชียงราย ว่าด้วยเรื่องการใช้และดูแลไฟอย่างมีจริยธรรม โดย นายมานพ บุญยืนกุล กำนันตำบลท่าก๊อ อำเภอแม่สรวย จังหวัดเชียงราย เป็นผู้แทนกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์อ่านคำแถลงการณ์

MFU Hosts Museum Dialogue: From Community Wisdom to Cultural-Ecological Wildfire Management

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Institute for Mekong Basin Civilization, Art, and Culture, in collaboration with the Ethnic and Indigenous Eco-Intelligence Research Unit for Sustainable Development and partner networks, hosted a Museum Dialogue themed "From Community Wisdom to Cultural-Ecological Wildfire Management System." The event served as a platform to extract lessons and summarize the outcomes of the project, "Expanding Knowledge and Innovation for Smoke Haze and Wildfire Management in Target Areas through Tribal Wisdom in Chiang Rai Province." The initiative aimed to scale up the traditional wildfire management models of the ethnic Pgaz k'nyau (Karen) community from Ban Huay Hin Lad Nai, Ban Pong Sub-district, Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province, to other ethnic communities to fostering mutual understanding.

Associate Professor Dr. Pollavat Prapattong, Head of the Institute for Mekong Basin Civilization, Art, and Culture, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the opening remarks. Assistant Professor Dr. Suwichan Pattana-praivan, a lecturer at the School of Liberal Arts and the head of the research project, presented the project's objectives. The event was attended by over 100 participants, including ethnic group members and stakeholders involved in smoke haze and wildfire management from Ban Huay Hin Lad Nai and surrounding areas. The activities took place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Kham Mok Luang Meeting Room, M-Square Building, Mae Fah Luang University.

The opening session featured a project overview and a presentation of satellite fire monitoring data from January to April  (2025-2026). This was followed by a series of panel discussions: Session 1: “Lessons Learned from Utilizing Ethnic Wisdom in Wildfire Prevention”; Session 2: “Innovations and Equipment for Fire Utilization and Management,” which included participatory workshops; and Session 3: “Fire-Watching Economy.”

Additionally, the event gathered practical and policy proposals to guide fire management for the remainder of 2026. Key findings were categorized into four areas: Knowledge, People and Networks, Area-based Plans and Systems, and Policy Proposals. The final session concluded with a joint declaration by the Ethnic River Basin Network of Chiang Rai Province regarding  ethical fire management, read by Mr. Manop Boonyuenkul, Head of Tha Ko Sub-district, Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai Province, as the ethnic community representative.
